Services Provided

Amisos English Club provides immersive English language education through the following:

Specific schedules, deliverables, and fees are confirmed at the time of membership approval. Changes will be communicated in advance.

Membership & Eligibility

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 16 years old. Members aged 16–17 require written parental or guardian consent.
• Application Process: Membership is subject to approval by the Club Director. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance.
• Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and all activities that occur under it. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use.

Fees & Payments

• Membership Dues: Fees are set by the Club Director and communicated at approval. Payable via iyzico secure checkout.
• Pricing Changes: Active members will receive at least 30 days' notice of any fee change.
• Oxford Materials: A licensed Oxford English File textbook and Oxford English Hub token are included in or added to your membership fee.
• Late Payment: Access to the dashboard and classes may be suspended until outstanding fees are settled.

Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellation by Member: You may withdraw membership at any time by written notice. Refunds for unused time are at the Club Director's discretion, prorated for complete unused months less non-refundable costs (e.g. Oxford materials already issued).
• Event Cancellations by the Club: Sessions cancelled by the Club will be rescheduled or credited.
• No-Show Policy: Failure to attend a reserved session without 24 hours' prior notice may result in forfeiture of that session with no credit.

Member Conduct

By becoming a member you agree to:

• Respect the English-only policy in designated physical zones of the club
• Treat all fellow members, staff, and guests with courtesy and respect
• Care for the club's equipment, furniture, and materials — wilful damage may result in charges
• Not record, photograph, or share other members' personal conversations without consent
• Comply with all applicable Turkish laws
• Not engage in any form of bullying, harassment, or discrimination

Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of membership without refund.

Intellectual Property

• Club Content: All website content, branding, and curriculum materials created by Amisos English Club are our property. Reproduction or distribution without express written permission is prohibited.
• Oxford Materials: Oxford English File textbooks and Oxford English Hub are licensed for personal educational use only. Reproduction or redistribution is strictly prohibited under our OQP partnership licence.

User-Generated Content

When you submit learning logs or activity photos through the member dashboard, you grant Amisos English Club a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that content for internal educational review and, with your explicit consent, for promotional materials. You represent that you own the rights to any content you submit.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Turkish law, Amisos English Club shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use our Services
• Any interruption or suspension due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control
• Unauthorised access to your account through no fault of our own
• Loss of data resulting from system failures or causes beyond our control

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the membership fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your membership immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct harmful to the Club, its members, or its reputation. Termination for cause will not include a refund. Where termination is not caused by member breach, we will provide a prorated refund for unused membership time.

Warranty Disclaimer

Our Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. Language learning outcomes depend significantly on individual effort and practice outside of club sessions.

Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, governmental restrictions, power outages, or failures in essential public services.

Dispute Resolution

We aim to resolve disagreements amicably. Please contact us at [email protected] and we will endeavour to respond within 10 business days. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Samsun, Turkey, and governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice by email to active members before the new Terms take effect.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey.
